- 2023 has been challenging for the entire adult entertainment sector.
- Sales and traffic have seen a general decline across various segments: Creator sites, Webcam platforms, Strip Venues, Clip Sites, etc.
- Mainstream establishments like clubs and bars have also faced substantial setbacks.
- Factors include increased living costs impacting disposable income, Brexit affecting the UK, and lost revenue due to COVID.
- The bearish crypto market adds strain to Pleasure Network’s products.
- Recent hurdles due to the Online Safety Act in the UK have led to businesses preparing for its implementation. Some phone networks require users to opt-in to view 18+ content, limiting accessibility. Platforms like Twitter/X are making it harder for adult content visibility.
Opportunities Ahead: Despite challenges, the crypto market indicates a potential bull market. Pleasure Network aims to leverage this with its plans, developments, and products.

PleasureNifty:
As the market of NFT’s is down, there has not been as much development on PleasureNifty. Unless we have a business case to create more features that makes sense due to large amounts of feedback/problems, we won’t be actively building at this moment.
Pleasurely:
- Welcomed 10 new creators.
- 60 million NSFW spent recently.
- Creator participation program initiated; some had their fee reduced to 1% in return for participating.
- We’re actively working on a one-page website to provide new users and creators with a detailed look at what Pleasurely has to offer. This website will be created to assist in our efforts with on-boarding new creators on Pleasurely.
- Features still coming: DM’s and Live-streaming. Hard to say when these will be live but they will be delivered. Our DM platform plans are very robust, leading to delays. Cam4 partnership is a big step towards live-streaming since we have now been introduced to many knowledgeable people on the matter. No specific release dates.
Pleasure Coin ($NSFW) / dApps:
- Staking: New pool starting January. 12.5% APY for 6 month lock. There will be a “emergency withdrawal” function later next year where funds can be withdrawn early minus any weekly rewards. The 4 and 12 week pool will be discontinued in July 2024 (more info later).
- Pleasure Coin Website Revamp: Some outdated info on current site which is controlled by another entity. Will build from scratch for more control. Development planned post completion of Pleasurely, Pleasure University, Pleasureland, and Staking websites.
- Pleasure University: Currently live https://university.pleasurecoin.com/ but still needs more content. Creators and community members can help to provide content. If you think you can add value, please contact us. If we publish your content you get a little gift from us.
- NSFW Lottery: Dakjo is coming up with a lottery system (more info to follow).
- Native Bridge: We will be building a new, native bridge with a Q1 2024 release.
NSFWpay:
- Working on technical details and legal compliance. Need to be compliant in almost every country so we’re working with partners to facilitate that.
- Aiming for the first partnership release in the first half of 2024.
- Looking to work with Cam4 on a creator cash out for crypto
ViceDAO Holders:
- Holders will be able to claim the second round of tokens on Dec 18th via existing team.finance link.
- We had to check everyone’s balance to make sure they did not sell per our claiming guidelines
- Funds will be used for Pleasureland development
Stormy Daniels Dress:
- We are still awaiting date confirmation from a very popular auction house and should know in the next few weeks.
- Hope is to build hype around Trump’s courthouse visits.
