Community Update August 2024

A lot has happened since 2021…

• xxxNifty project was poorly run and Alex ended up emptying the funds. This is when Gavin took over to save it. Unfortunately, Gavin became ill and could no longer run the project so this is when I (Tim) ended up taking over.
• We rebranded to Pleasure Coin (NSFW) and migrated to Polygon.
• We had a lot of momentum and started building 3 products simultaneously: Pleasurely PleasureNifty and Pleasureland.
• A lot of other cool things were built as well. But we also had a lot of things that failed for various reasons.
• Despite the enthusiasm of our community and significant investments, the project struggled due to a lack of clear revenue models, especially during the bear market.
• More recently, the team / company we hired for Pleasureland and PleasureNifty could no longer operate and have folded so we are left with a lot of unfinished work. A lot of time, money and energy was unfortunately wasted.

We found a friend in AZTEQ!

• AZTEQ is a high resolution Metaverse built on the Web3 game engine Tetra.
• They have partnerships with Disney, Microsoft and Nvidia among others and are available on Mac, PC, iOS, Android, PS, Xbox and Nintendo
• The awesome thing is, we have been accepted into their incubator and accelerator program! This means we will be able to build our idea of Pleasureland within their ecosystem.
• They will commit to an undisclosed amount of resources to make Pleasureland a reality.
• Pleasureland and the Pink Tower will have renewed game-design, there will be many very cool and yet dark and naughty games in there.
• Pleasure Coin (NSFW) will be the currency for everything. AZTEQ also has Fiat on/off ramping for us. So buying Pleasure Coin (NSFW) will be as easy as one, two, three!
• All the things we wanted will be there. Pink Passes, Pink Dolls and Pleasure Pads will have utility and of course Pleasure Coin (NSFW).
• We will also see how we can integrate Pleasurely with Pleasureland. And PleasureNifty too. Even broader with white-labeling in the future.

Some things to do

• This new strategy will be focused on moving towards the Adult and GameFi ecosystem. With our community as the backbone.
• We are now re-evaluating our tokenomics and whether or not our staking pool / program is helping or hurting our cause. We need to become deflationary. We are currently looking into the Polygon LP pair and whether it’s the best chain to be on.
• We are reconsidering our plan to list on CEX’s at the moment. As our funds can be put to better (and similar) use on DEX’s to create volume and price action.
• We have been focusing a lot on the token price / marketing and lost a lot of energy. We won’t lose sight of the token price but we won’t be spending a lot of money on crypto / token marketing. We will focus on utility and market that to the masses. The price will follow.

We have been here for many years already and Pleasure Fam will be here for many years to come. We have had great successes over the years but we have also failed hard in some areas. We have made some short term sacrifices for long term victories. Let’s fucking go!

I know you will have a lot of questions, I’m going on a holiday. The team might host some AMA’s/VC’s while I’m gone. And once I’m back I will host an AMA where all questions about the past and future can be asked.

Thanks for the great support and again sorry for the lack of communication lately. We were talking with so many different people at the same time that we needed to wait for all the details and more importantly, the ink to dry.
